Ambassadors

Ambassadors are carefully selected for the 4-H Senior Youth Leadership Program. They actively support their communities by assisting programs, helping members, and engaging with the public. They are enthusiastic and eager to contribute their time and help.

Premier’s Award Winner

Isabella S.

West Central Region Ambassador

 

Bella Sweet has been a proud 4-H member for the past nine years with the Crestomere 4-H Multi Club and the West Ponoka 4-H Beef Club. Over the years, she has explored many sheep, beef, and judging projects while developing a strong passion for leadership and community involvement. Bella has served in several leadership roles, including District President and Regional Vice President, and is currently a West Central Regional Ambassador. Through this position, she has learned the importance of meaningful connections and the impact that mentorship can have on younger members. As both an Ambassador and a Premier’s Award Recipient, Bella is excited to continue giving back to the program that has shaped her, inspiring others to grow, lead, and make a difference through 4-H.

 

South Region

Nora J.

In my second year as an ambassador I am so excited for this year! With a background in a diverse range of projects such as market lamb, pen of 3, judging, cooking, sewing, and market steer-I am looking forward to helping others in any way possible and helping with new events in my region. I can’t wait for all the new people I will meet and all the opportunities this year will bring!

As an ambassador, I aim to engage with youth in my community and show just how much the 4H program can offer them. I’m especially interested in public speaking and working with youth. I’ve been helping to organize and run programs as a youth leader for years now, and I’m excited to to bring what I’ve learned through that wonderful experience into my years as an ambassador. I’ve been in many projects over the years, including equine, scrapbooking, cooking, and of course archery and creative options which I am currently in. I’m so excited for the years to come, and I can’t wait for all the opportunities I’ll have to help my club, community, country, and world.

I’m honoured to represent the south zone as ambassador this year, it’s my 6th year as a multi project member. Female projects and archery have been my top achievements so far. Ive cultivated my passion for youth education through leading camps, coaching sports and helping the youth in my community in and out of 4H. I am excited to use this opportunity to learn more skills to take forward in every aspect of my life. Striving to find and maintain a healthy work, sport, and 4H balance.

Calgary Region

Devyn H.

As a second year ambassador; I plan to use what I have learned and continue focusing on leadership and everyday skills, as well as helping with community involvement and volunteer work . With my project background of market lamb, pen of three, carcass and archery; I am excited to share what I have learned, teach many people about the skills, and show the enjoyment of learning to do by doing.

Dawson D.

As an ambassador, I aim to engage with youth in my community and show just how much the 4H program can offer them. I’m especially interested in public speaking and working with youth. I am very excited to learn about the role of an Ambassador and use this role to promote 4-H and its values to members, leaders, and community members, as well as encourage leadership, responsibility, public speaking, and other life skills. I have a long history with beef and sheep projects and have also completed a small engine and a pheasant project. I am eager to learn more, help wherever possible, and share my knowledge and experience with others!

Alanna N.

As an Ambassador, I’m excited to focus on workshops, camps, and community involvement while encouraging more members to get involved at the district, regional, and provincial levels. This is my 8th year in 4-H, and I’ve enjoyed exploring a wide range of projects, most recently being Canine, Sewing, Archery, Explore 4-H and Sheep. 4-H has given me so many incredible opportunities to learn, lead, and grow, and I’m eager to share those experiences while helping inspire and support the next generation of 4-H members.

Katie H.

As an Ambassador, I am thrilled to spend time getting to know younger members in 4-H Alberta. In the past eight years, I have learned so much by completing market sheep, canine agility, piano, sewing and sports projects as well as competing in communications and judging competitions. My three favorite things about 4-H are our investment in communications, leadership and having fun – I can’t wait to spend the year developing and sharing these skills with YOU!

West Central Region

As an ambassador, some of my strengths are judging, public speaking, community involvement, camps and leadership with younger members. I’ve been involved in several 4-H projects including many sheep, beef, and judging projects. I’m very excited to promote the program I love so much and encourage others to experience all they can through 4-H.

Evangeline H.

As a 4-H Alberta Ambassador, I am excited to focus on public speaking, judging, and fostering community involvement. My journey with 4-H began as a Cleaver member, and over the years, I have participated in diverse projects, including sheep, canine, horticulture, veterinary sciences, the Green Certificate Program, and judging.

I am passionate about supporting fellow 4-H members and leaders and am committed to helping clubs in my region grow and thrive. I look forward to contributing in meaningful ways at events and serving as a resource and advocate for the 4-H community.

Jenalee S.

I am excited to share my knowledge on public speaking, leadership and youth engagement, I have done a variety of horse and beef projects and am looking forward to sharing my experiences.

Carson F.

As a 4-H Ambassador, I am exited to focus on youth development, judging skills, community involvement, public speaking, along with hosting Regional and District events. Coming from a multi club, I have a diverse knowledge in projects such as, sheep, woodworking, beef carcass, judging, small engines, and more. I am thrilled to help mentor 4-H members, to continue to learn to do by doing.

Janine S.

I hope to share my experience and create a positive environment for other members as an ambassador. I am excited to share my knowledge through workshops, camps, and other events. My focuses are community involvement, leadership, and record books. I am in my ninth year of 4-H and have been involved in many beef projects along with project in a weekend. I’m passionate about promoting 4-H and growing and improving it’s community. I’m looking forward to a great year!

East Central Region

Taylor M.

As an Ambassador, I am excited to focus on youth engagement, community involvement, and leadership at a district, regional and provincial level. With background in beef projects, I Iook forward to sharing my experiences as well as learning from others. I hope to continue my involvement after 4-H, and I hope this position as an Ambassador will help encourage and inspire youth to push themselves, and reach their full potential in 4-H.

Bryce C.

As an Ambassador, I am focused on helping the younger members and promote the 4-H program. My 4-H background has been primarily beef – steer, carcass, heifer, cow/calf and pen projects. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and helping other members learn to do by doing.

Danna B.

As an East Central Regional Ambassador, I am excited to focus on getting members more involved with regional and provincial activities, as well as public speaking through clinics and fun days. I have completed Market Steer, Bred Heifer, Cow-Calf pairs, Herd, Carcass, and Archery projects. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with many different members.

Northeast Region

Darby M.

My main objectives as an ambassador are to engage youth through camps and community involvement, leadership development, and public speaking. I have multiple experiences in different projects such as Equine, beef, and fitness. I’m excited to share and grow the 4-H community.

Ruby S.

My experiences at all 5 levels of 4-H have proven to be beneficial in every aspect of post-secondary life. During my final year as an ambassador, I hope to help as many new members discover the wide variety of benefits I received from 4-H. I have been fortunate enough to witness my 4-H peers grow in many ways and want other youth to experience their best selves as well.

Jalynn W.

As an Ambassador, I am excited to focus on helping younger members get the most out of their camp experiences and leadership development. With a background in diverse 4-H projects, including Market steer, Heifer, two-year-old cow-calf pair, and three-year-old cow-calf pair, I look forward to meeting new members and sharing my experiences with younger members!

As an Ambassador, I am thrilled to be able to share my knowledge on Leadership, teamwork and community involvement. With being involved in a numerous amount of projects, including beef, poultry, leadership, foods and more, I look forward to being able to inspire members and engage with other ambassadors!

As an Ambassador, i’m excited to share life skills and improve youth involvement throughout the year. I’ve had many experiences throughout my 10 years including market beef, market lamb and breeding ewe projects. I look forward to being able to work with others and meet new members throughout the year!

Northwest Region

Max B.

As an Ambassador, I am excited to focus on several key areas, including Public Speaking, Judging, Beef Clipping and Fitting Demonstrations, Leadership Development, Record Keeping, Community Outreach, Consumer Decision-making, 4-H Dances, and Camps through active community involvement. With a diverse background in various 4-H projects such as Market Steer, Yearling Heifer, Cow/Calf Projects, Carcass Steer, Judging, Gardening, Canine and Leadership, I look forward to sharing my experiences to support the growth and development of youth in our community.

Sarene C.

I have been a member of 4-H for 11 years, with my project being Light Horse. I have had the opportunity to participate in diverse activities at the club, district, regional, and provincial levels. As an Ambassador, I am excited to share my experiences, encourage and inspire members to go outside of their comfort zones, and bring awareness of 4-H programs. I aspire to focus on leadership development.

Tacee F.

As a member for 9 years I have had the opportunity to be involved in many 4-H experiences at the Club, District and Regional level. I have lots of knowledge with all Beef Projects, Record Keeping, Public Speaking, Leadership and Judging. As an Ambassador I am really excited to be able to help members, pass on my knowledge and promote all the 4-H program has to offer to others.

Sydney C.

This is my 8th year in 4-H, and as a member I have completed many projects such as Quilting, Vet Sciences, Archery, Photography, Beef and Sheep. For my first year as an ambassador, I am excited to promote 4-H and inspire members to learn new skills. I look forward to growing my leadership and youth development skills throughout this year.

Peace Region

Jennifer F.

As a second year ambassador for the Peace Region, I am thrilled to further extend my help towards any camps, workshops, consumer decision making/ judging, youth development and my community. I’m very experienced in communications activities and have held many executive positions. My background in various diverse 4-H projects includes Equine- English jumping, beef heifer, cow/calf, market steer, cat, veterinary sciences and archery.

Keana K.

I am extremely excited to be an ambassador this year, getting involved within my region, growing my leadership skills, and connecting with more members all over Alberta. I take pride in my non-livestock projects, participating in Archery, sewing, and Jr. Leadership with Lego as my leadership project. I hope to create a fun and inclusive learning environment for all of our members!

Cole B.

As a peace region ambassador, I am excited to represent my region and focus on my leadership skills. I’ve been in 4H since I was 6 years old, starting with a sheep project then got into beef when I was 9. I show steers, heifer and cow-calf pairs. I love helping those in need and I’m excited to meet new people. I will always stand by the 4H saying “Learn To Do By Doing”
